Hello Gramblinites, Supporters and Friends:
Welcome to the Grambling University National Alumni Association, Inc., GUNAA, website. Our desire is to provide you with updated and accurate information; and to be a valuable resource center.
Grambling University National Alumni Association, Inc., is a great organization and will continue to be great as we remain focus on:
1. building our membership
2. increasing fundraising
3. speaking with one cohesive voice.
Our founding fathers put a great deal of faith in Jesus Christ as they built Grambling State University (GSU) in a collaborate endeavor with GUNAA. We are required to continue to build the walls on the foundation that has been laid for us. GUNAA was established in 1967, for the purpose of working with the leadership of Grambling State University (Grambling College). Immediately after if began, the leadership chartered local chapters all over the world. All local chapters are certified and commissioned under the leadership of GUNAA. Our goal is to bring us back to our foundation and continue to build.
We have enjoyed many years of effective service to the university, students, faculty, staff, and administration. We pledge to continue to work for the betterment of the university in all endeavors. As in past years we will continue to send our sons, daughters, relatives, friends, neighbors, and students to GSU. We will continue to fund scholarships, endowments and special projects. We have always given, we have not always documented, and this is an area we must correct.
We are commissioned to speak for those who can not speak for themselves, our ancestors have passed on and we must now take up their mantle. The work is extensive and spread out, therefore, we must stand side by side to rebuild.
